Quality Adjusted Life Years (QALY) – Nell’ambito delle analisi costo utilità, una delle unità di misura più usate è il QALY che tiene conto non solo degli anni di vita che si possono sperare di ottenere in base ad un intervento, ma anche della qualità della vita. In pratica, l’utilità di un intervento espressa in QALY deriva dagli anni di vita di un soggetto moltiplicati per un coefficiente che sintetizza lo stato di salute del medesimo soggetto. –
